Kasenov is a specialist in the field of biotechnology, epizootology, virology, organization of the production of biological products, development of technologies for the manufacture and control of preventive drugs. He has interned at leading research centers for the control of biological products: in the USA, Great Britain and Russia.\nHe was the scientific director of 20 projects carried out within the framework of republican scientific and technical programs and grant funding for the development of specific prevention tools, diagnostics of viral infections and epizootological monitoring, and the executor of 7 international projects.\nM.M. Kasenov has more than 150 scientific papers, 25 inventions, including 1 Eurasian patent, 24 articles in international peer-reviewed scientific journals with a non-zero impact factor according to Thomson Reuters, 4 co-authored monographs.\nThe h-index is 6, according to Web of Science and Scopus.\nKasenov Marhabat Melisbekovich is A Laureate of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan \u2013 the Leader of the Nation. He was awarded a Letter of gratitude from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev, Letters of gratitude from the Nur Otan party.\nFor his contribution to the development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was awarded the diploma of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2018), the medal \u00abHalyk Algysy\u00bb (2020), the Letter of gratitude of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2021), the Diploma of the Akim of Zhambyl region (2021), the Laureate of the State Prize in Science and technology named after \u0410l-Farabi (2021).
