Kasenov Marhabat Melisbekovich, General Director of «Kazakh Scientific Research Veterinary Institute» LLP, JSC «National Holding «QazBioPharm»», Professor, Winner of the Al-Farabi State Prize in Science and Technology. M.M. Kasenov graduated from the Kazakh State Agrarian University in 1997 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He started his career in 1997 at the Scientific Research Agricultural Institute (renamed in 2010 as NIIPBB). In January 2006, he successfully defended his PhD thesis. On December 8, 2022, he was appointed General Director of «Kazakh Scientific Research Veterinary Institute» LLP, JSC «National Holding QazBioPharm». M.M. Kasenov is a specialist in the field of biotechnology, epizootology, virology, organization of the production of biological products, development of technologies for the manufacture and control of preventive drugs. He has interned at leading research centers for the control of biological products: in the USA, Great Britain and Russia. He was the scientific director of 20 projects carried out within the framework of republican scientific and technical programs and grant funding for the development of specific prevention tools, diagnostics of viral infections and epizootological monitoring, and the executor of 7 international projects. M.M. Kasenov has more than 150 scientific papers, 25 inventions, including 1 Eurasian patent, 24 articles in international peer-reviewed scientific journals with a non-zero impact factor according to Thomson Reuters, 4 co-authored monographs. Abdybekova Aida Makenovna – Deputy General Director for Scientific Activities of «KazNIVI» LLP, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor. In 1993, she graduated with honors from the Alma-Ata Veterinary Institute, after which she entered graduate school at the Kazakh National Research Institute. She successfully defended her PhD thesis in 1997 and her doctoral thesis in 2007. She has been working at the Institute in chosen field of scientific research for 30 years, including more than 10 years as a professor. Aida Makenovna is the founder of the scientific school of parasitologists of Kazakhstan. Under her leadership, 1 doctoral, 4 PhD, 2 PhD, 7 master's theses were defended. She is the supervisor of 5 PhD doctoral students. She has published more than 240 scientific papers, including 5 monographs, 1 textbook, 16 recommendations and guidelines, 2 e-books, 2 atlases, 28 security documents, 70 articles in domestic publications, 40 articles in international publications of the USA, Great Britain, Switzerland, Turkey, China, Russia, Belarus, including 16 scientific articles and 1 abstract in international cited publications. The Hirsch index is 9 (Scopus), 8 – (Web of Science). 3 NTD’s have been developed and agreed upon, 3 registration certificates for animal deworming preparations have been obtained, which are widely used in the veterinary practice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Nurpeisova Ainur – Deputy general director for production development and commercialization of scientific developments, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). She is a specialist in the field of immunology, virology, biological safety, as well as in the development of means for the prevention of particularly dangerous infections of humans and animals. She has experience in managing scientific projects within the framework of grants and program-targeted funding. She co-authored more than 70 scientific papers, including 13 publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals, indexed in the databases of Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science) and Scopus, included in the 1st - 4th quartiles according to Journal Citation Reports of Clarivate Analytics or having in the Scopus database, the CiteScore percentile ranges from 14 to 65., author of 2 monographs. She participated in preclinical commission experiments involving pandemic inactivated vaccines Kazfluvac® and Refluvac®, as well as the inactivated vaccine QazCovid-in® against COVID-19, at the National Center for Expertise of Medicines, Medical Products, and Medical Equipment of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty). Additionally, contributed to research on vector vaccines for the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis at the Research Institute of Medical Primatology (Sochi, Russia) and participated in their clinical trials in advanced scientific centers within the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2020, she was honored with the state medal of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Eren Enbegi Ushin," in recognition of her commendable efforts in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, she was awarded the "Halyk Algysy" state medal by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Sembina Fatima Yegimbaevna - Chief Scientific Secretary of «KAZNIVI» LLP, candidate of Veterinary Sciences. Specialist in the field of veterinary microbiology, epizootology and diagnostics of infectious diseases. Graduated from the All-Union Institute of Experimental Veterinary Science named after Y.R. Kovalenko in Moscow, in 1997 she defended her PhD thesis. She worked her way from a senior laboratory assistant to the head of the laboratory of diseases of young animals and reproductive organs of «KazNIVI» LLP (2009 - 2012). By results of scientific researchs she published more than 80 scientific works. In 2009, she has completed an internship at the youth center «HAUS DUSSE» (Germany, Earth North Rhine-Westphalia). She was awarded a Letter of gratitude for her work in the field of agro-industrial complex of JSC «Kai» (2013); honorary certificates of the RSE «NPCZHIV» in the 100th anniversary of the Institute of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2005), and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan «For contribution to the development of the agricultural sector» (2017). In 2020, she was awarded the honorary title of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Excellence in agriculture».
